Will Assembler Online be available in Organon?

Assembler Online will not be available in OrganonBackground:​

The current toolset used within the Modular Content/Content Automation process includes the Assembler 7 Desktop tool, which is owned exclusively by Merck.  Brands moving to Organon that are currently using the Modular Content/Content Automation process will no longer be permitted to use the Assembler 7 Desktop tool as the tool is being decommissioned and will no longer be supported by IT.   ​Considerations and Action Items:​

What this means:​

When the Company in Company begins on February 1, 2021, to Organon occurs, you will not be permitted to open the materials available in the Organon PromoMats vault using Assembler. Materials that were created through the Assembler Tool and are at the Approved for Production status are not affected. Materials that are in any other state will be impacted.​

How to prepare:​

Between now and Company in Company, please work with your agency teams to identify those projects that are in development utilizing the Assembler 7 Desktop tool and for each of those projects download the Desktop Assembler package.  You can then work with your teams to use the download to convert the work to a new platform/application like InDesign, Bee, or Content Creator.​
