How internal padding affects email templates

The use of internal padding on emails (especially on buttons) should be reduced to sporadic or none. This is due to Outlook’s problems when rendering email templates. Buttons with internal padding applied on them tend to appear stretched, losing their original designed form

If you are going to use internal paddings anyways, we highly recommend you to do some testing to see how it could affect your email template before sending it.
