I cannot export PDFs/HTML package from Assembler Online

First step is to ensure that the component project.assembler.json is in Draft status. If not, you need to move it to that status to allow its update and the PDF/HTML package creation.

Chrome

If you are using Chrome, follow this quick guide to enable Assembler’s Pop-ups and redirects.

To properly download PDFs and the HTML source package you need to set up your preferences in Google Chrome.

  1. Open Chrome
  2. At the top right, click  , then Settings
  3. Click Privacy and security and then Site Settings.
  4. Click Pop-ups and redirects.
  5. At the top, turn the setting to Allowed
  6. Click Downloads and select Location to save downloaded files.

 Safari

To properly download PDFs and the HTML source package you need to set up your preferences in Safari.

  1. Open Safari
  2. Select Safari>Preferences
  3. In Preferences go to Pop-Up Windows
  4. Select Allow
  5. Go to Downloads under General section Select Allow
  6. Top level select General
  7. Select file you want downloads to go in
