I face an error while trying to open the Assembler Online Project
Project requisites
- The Material should be a copy of an Assembler-ready material.
- The Material should have a “Master surface” and a “.json” file included in the Components section.
- The first time to “Open in Assembler” the Material should have all the Components approved. The project which is “Based on” should have as well all the components approved and visible.
- The Material should not be in “Approve for Distribution” status.
- If the Material is in “Approved for Production” status, but some more changes are required, please send a “Request Revised Content” task to yourself or to your collaboration agency to be able to “Open in Assembler” again.
- The user should have the permissions for the specific country, to open it (correct country and role) – If users want to share a project, please read some best practices to collaborate!
Classic errors trying to open an Assembler Online project
- BROWSER SETTING: Users will obtain a full experience in Assembler Online by opening it with Safari or Chrome browsers. Keep in mind you must allow Pop Ups. Users could face problems using other browsers. Download a browser set up guide for enabling Pop Ups, for Chrome or for Safari
- DOCUMENT’S STATUS: Materials in “Approved for Distribution” cannot be opened with Assembler Online.
- METADATA CONSIDERATIONS: users should fill the metadata properly. Users are NOT able to access other countries’ Components (such as images, Logos, .json files, text collections etc.) unless they have extended permissions.
- OWNERSHIP: Make sure you selected YOUR recent created copy, not the original “Based on” project to open. You will find your copy in your PromoMats library “My Library”.
- METADATA CONSIDERATIONS: product field must include the local market prefix for brands e.g. FR KEYTRUDA = France Keytruda
- METADATA CONSIDERATIONS: when you copy a StoryCard, StoryLine field must be removed.
- ASSEMBLER 7: Starter Templates for Assembler 7 (white tiles with colored frame) are NOT able to be opened with Assembler Online. Assembler Online Starter Templates are the fully colored tiles with the grey belt at the bottom showing ASSEMBLER Online logo.
